Sheridan College

Overview

At Sheridan, student success is at the heart of what we do. From comprehensive student services to dedicated faculty and hard-working staff, our mission is to ensure that our students graduate with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. That commitment is reflected in our graduation rate, which is the highest in the Greater Toronto Area.

That’s not all that sets Sheridan apart. Our programs, faculty and staff have won more national awards of excellence than any college in Canada. Our alumni lead successful businesses, win Academy and Gemini awards, perform on stages across North America and around the world, and make invaluable contributions in the health care and community service fields. With more than 100,000 alumni to date, Sheridan graduates have made a significant difference in building our communities, both socially and economically.

We’re also proud of the growth in our degree programs, offered in disciplines that reflect our strengths in the arts, business, technology and community service fields. With many new and exciting degrees planned for the future, this is an increasingly popular and practical option for students who want a well-rounded credential that blends theoretical and applied learning.

While academic achievement is a high priority, we also aim to offer our students a well-rounded experience that allows them to develop their interests, values and goals. Whether it be through athletics, student government, social clubs, community volunteer work or mentoring fellow students – there are countless ways to enrich your experience here, and enhance your resume at the same time. The quality of our graduates is evident in the 95% satisfaction rate reported by employers who have hired them.

Whether you come to us for a diploma, graduate certificate or degree, you’ll find a learning environment that is fuelled by innovation and creativity, enhanced by the latest technology, and supported by extensive services dedicated to your success.
